Members of the Cemetery Committee, which is the all-volunteer group that tends generally to the churchyard and handles all requests and inquiries, will hold their regular business meeting.
Join members of Grace's Cemetery Committee for a hands-on workshop dedicated to the proper preservation of the churchyard's various monuments. Bring water and work gloves and wear comfortable clothing; be prepared to kneel, bend and move so that you can reach all areas of a particular marker. Questions? Learn about the proper preservation and cleaning of historic gravestones during the Grace Cemetery Committee's fall preservation workshop. The workshop will be preceded by a cemetery committee meeting from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Please bring garden gloves and wear comfortable clothes for the workshop portion of the day.
Head over to the Parish Hall parking lot for a Trunk or Treat event after the 10:15 a.m. worship service concludes. You are welcome to wear your costume to church (in fact, they are encouraged). For those not participating as "treat distributors," please do not park in the Parish Hall parking lot after 9:30 a.m.
