Join Grace's online Centering Prayer group weekly on Mondays. The format begins with a reading from the Centering Prayer literature, scripture, a 20-minute "sit" during which the scripture is silently contemplated, followed by some brief conversation if anyone has anything to say and then a closing prayer. We'll be letting the good times roll with a pancake supper (along with scrambled eggs and sausage) and lots of sweets, followed by the annual Pancake Races. Suggested donation is $10 for a couple and $20 for three or more people.
Our first service on Ash Wednesday will be at 7 a.m. in the historic church.
Our usual noon Wednesday service with prayers for healing will be a Holy Eucharist Rite II service with the liturgy of Ash Wednesday.
