Grace hosts an in-person Alcoholics Anonymous meeting on Saturday nights in our Parish Hall. These meetings are open, wheelchair accessible and typically feature a speaker. Open meetings are available to anyone interested in Alcoholics Anonymous' program of recovery from alcoholism. Nonalcoholics may attend open meetings as observers.
Join us in worship at a Rite II Holy Eucharist service in our historic church. This service is slightly less formal than our 8:30 a.m. service and features more music and, often, our choir. Church announcements begin at 10:20 a.m., so come early to hear what's going on at Grace. Nursery service is available during this service for children ages five and younger on the lower level of the Parish Hall. Join Grace's online Centering Prayer group weekly on Mondays. The format begins with a reading from the Centering Prayer literature, scripture, a 20-minute "sit" during which the scripture is silently contemplated, followed by some brief conversation if anyone has anything to say and then a closing prayer. Grace-ful Knitters has been putting their talents to good use since the fall of 2010. The group meets weekly on Thursdays and knits prayer shawls for the Grace Prayer Shawl ministry, hats for the homeless and other community needs, along with personal projects. The group’s members work at all skill levels and several members will be glad to work with anyone who wants to learn to knit. There’s a supply of yarn and needles for anyone needing them. All are welcome.
Grace hosts an Alcoholics Anonymous Shoulder to Shoulder group meeting weekly in the Parish Hall. According to the in-person, Big Book, closed meeting with wheelchair access. Closed meetings are for A.A. members only, or for those who have a drinking problem and “have a desire to stop drinking.”
If you've attended Cursillo you are welcome to join a small group meeting Saturday mornings in Grace's Riverview. Cursillo begins with a three-day weekend that’s a living expression of Christ’s love as it happens over three color-, joy- and music-filled days that produce new and profound friendships.
